This site functions as an independent editorial record of licensed venues in the Midlands and the North. It runs no gambling service, accepts no stake or wager, offers no hotel accommodation for sale, and takes no payment from readers. Its output is descriptive material and assessment, nothing more.
The form collects enquiries; it does not reserve tables, rooms, seats or memberships. Whatever follows, be it a visit, a reservation or a membership application, is settled between reader and venue, governed by the venue’s own rules and contract. The Register stands outside that agreement and carries none of its obligations.
Street addresses, contact numbers and stated opening times reproduced here are drawn from each venue’s published information and from publicly available registers, and were accurate as far as could be verified at the time of writing. Premises alter their hours, change name or shut down. Check with the venue before setting out; no responsibility is accepted for a journey made in vain.
Every ranking and numerical score is editorial opinion, held at the date it was published, and may be revised. No score is an endorsement issued by a venue, and no venue has been asked to approve one. Readers should weigh the reasoning given alongside their own priorities.
Text, tables and page design published on this site are the copyright of The Midland Register, 2026, and may not be reproduced without permission. The names and trade marks of casino operators belong to those operators and appear solely to identify premises. An outbound link to a venue site signals no commercial relationship.
Readership is restricted to those aged eighteen or over. Eighteen is the legal minimum age for gambling in Great Britain, and licensed premises are required to enforce it at entry. Gamble responsibly, and only with money that can be spared. So far as the law permits, The Midland Register bears no liability for choices made using this material, or for anything done or left undone by a venue.
